ThreadBear Fiber Arts Studio is a full-service retail yarn shop in Lansing, Michigan USA. We pride ourselves on excellent service, broad selection, and deep stock. If you knit, crochet, spin, or are interested in doing any of these, ThreadBear is a resource not to be missed.

Our helpful and knowledgeable staff is pleased to help you with any question. Each of our staff is a knitter, crocheter, or spinner, and while no one would be able to answer every question, they will generally know where to look or whom to ask to assist you in finding the answers that you seek. Please, don't hesitate to ask any question. We're always glad to help.

Our intent is to make everyone feel as welcome as possible whether they're shopping with us online or in-person and whether they're shopping with us for the first time or the five hundredth. To that end, we offer a free beverage station, free wi-fi, and—on occasion—free treats from our kitchen or from the kitchen of one of our many regular patrons.

Because the business started out as a home-based business, you will also frequently find the owners' two dogs in the shop. Both are very well-behaved and love to be petted, and they're are apt to welcome you with a sniff or two (or four) then leave you to your shopping. We encourage petting and cuddling and try to minimize treating so that the boys will be with us for years to come.
